Silent figures revealed by the receding tide

15-second realistic cinematic horror sequence, shot on 35mm film, grey overcast beach at dusk, cold blue-grey colors, wet sand, subtle film grain. Exactly one person: a woman in a yellow raincoat standing on the shore. [0-5s] Wide shot of a calm beach. The woman stands at the water's edge looking out at the sea. Suddenly the water starts pulling back fast, far faster than any normal tide, exposing wet sand and rocks for hundreds of meters. [5-10s] The viewer rises high above her. As the sea drains away, the exposed seabed reveals rows and rows of pale human figures standing perfectly still on the sand, dozens of them, all facing the ocean, their backs to the woman. [10-15s] Close-up on the woman's face as she steps back in horror. Cut to wide shot: all the figures on the seabed turn around at the exact same moment and face the viewer. In the far distance, a massive wave is rising.
