Dramatic Scene: Disheveled Man, News Report on Murders

In a dimly lit room with city lights glowing through the blinds, a disheveled man in a suit slumps on a couch, a lit cigarette held loosely in his hand. Smoke curls lazily towards the ceiling as he stares blankly ahead. The camera begins a slow pan to the left, moving away from the man and focusing on an old television set flickering in the darkness. The TV's glow casts shifting blue light across the room. As the camera squares up on the screen, it begins to slowly push in, filling the frame with the broadcast. A news reporter with red hair is speaking at a desk, but the focus is on the intense, close-up shot of a blonde-haired individual with piercing blue eyes staring out from the screen. The background behind them is a chaotic collage of graffiti, and the faint hum and static of the television are palpable as the reporters discuss a string of murders plaguing the city.
