Portrait of a Woman's Life in Time-Lapse

This time-lapse video begins with a close-up, black-and-white shot of a young toddler with large, inquisitive dark eyes and a serious expression. As the years visibly pass, she ages gracefully; her short dark hair lengthens, then shortens and turns a beautiful curly gray. Her serious look gradually softens, her cheeks fill out, and her lips curve into a warm, gentle smile, revealing the same kind eyes from her youth. Simultaneously, the camera executes a continuous, large-range movement: it pushes out, pedestals up, and tilts down. This sweeping motion reveals more of her surroundings. The initial plain, sepia-toned backdrop dissolves into a modern, warm home interior. The scene slowly saturates with color as a painting appears on the wall behind her and a dining area comes into view. By the end of the shot, we see the smiling woman in her present-day environment, a lifetime of experience reflected in her joyful expression.
