Man Confronts Sinister Shadows in Cinematic Horror Sequence

FADE IN: LOW ANGLE, slowly ROTATING - A man's face emerges from pitch darkness, beard matted with an unidentifiable dark substance. His eyes, unnaturally wide, stare upward at something we cannot see. The camera continues its glacial spiral as shadows play across his features. TRACKING SHOT, EXTREME CLOSE-UP - Glides across his neck, revealing dark veins pulsing beneath pale skin. Something moves under the surface. SNAP ZOOM to his eyes - His pupils dilate suddenly as the sound of cracking bones echoes through the space. DUTCH ANGLE, pulling back - The man's head begins to twitch unnaturally. The camera tilts more severely as his movements become increasingly erratic. WHIP PAN to behind his head - Then DOLLY forward, slowly revealing what he's been staring at on the ceiling: a writhing mass of shadows that seems to reach down toward him. HANDHELD, circling - The camera becomes frenzied as the shadows descend. His mouth opens impossibly wide, jaw distending beyond human limits. CUT TO BLACK just as the shadows make contact.
